I knocked 20 degrees off of the engingine temp with 3 dollars worth of AC Open cell weather strip glue across the top of the radiator from one side to the other. Width of the hood. Similar strip came with the car, but they crumble away over time. this force all intake air across the radiator.

This also cooled the car interior.

Also make sure the hood gasket is in good shape.
