Corsa Exhaust

Corsa C5 Corvette Exhaust Systems are top shelf systems with many options for tips and sound levels. They have Classic, 3.5 inch and 4 inch four tip exhaust systems. You can have almost any tip on any sound level. The only exception is the 4 inch only comes in the Extreme sound level! You would also have to install a crossover section from the catalytic converters to the axles. The Pace car and Touring versions require only the over axle sections. All of Corsa's systems require no welding! All systems are 50 State legal and carry a lifetime warranty as long as you own the vehicle! Borla C5 Exhaust Systems

Choose from several C5 Corvette Exhaust tip styles and muffler designs. Cat-Backs™ and Rear Sections are available with either the highly popular C5 Corvette Exhaust “S-Type” muffler or the “Touring” muffler. The “S-Type” is a smaller, round muffler with a center-in/center-out configuration. This gives a more aggressive sound and higher flow. For those who prefer it on the milder side, they have the “Touring” muffler -- a larger case producing less aggressive sound. Some come with an assortment of tip designs. BORLA® has developed a revolutionary new exhaust technology that enables our engineers to deliver unprecedented vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note of an exhaust throughout the RPM range, while retaining 100% of the power-adding capabilities of BORLA’s patented multicore design.

Called ATAK™ (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), this new technology produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels in the BORLA street-legal lineup, and is designed for high-performance purists who prefer exhaust notes over their stereos. The focus of ATAK™ is to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, avoiding distortion typically found in louder exhausts. With ATAK™, the sound output is tuned like a graphic equalizer to shape and focus sound waves for optimum high-volume output.

The development of each ATAK™ system begins with extensive study of each vehicle’s acoustical properties. The technology is based on custom-tuned attributes of the internal muffler cores, which are calibrated on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis to deliver the most desirable sound.

Here's a video collection of different sounds of C5 Corvette exhaust systems. One thing to remember is your car may sound different if you have other things done. For Example: A big change would be the installation of an aftermarket camshaft or installation of an off-road pipe (no converters).

What does an exhaust system do? Why buy an exhaust system? A performance exhaust system is used to increase horsepower for your car by allowing exhaust gases to pass through your exhaust system with less back pressure and less resistance. A performance exhaust system can be the most cost-effective modification you can do to get more horsepower out of your car, not to mention that it will give your car a deeper more aggressive sound. And depending on the brand, performance exhaust systems normally include gorgeous new mufflers that add a great appearance to your car.

The Borla system is louder system and can have drone at certain speeds. In my opinion its the best sounding system for the corvette but has some drawbacks for everyday driving.

Corsa is another system for the Corvette that sounds great.

SLP Performance has several differnt levels of sound this video was the Power Flo.

This is the SLP Loud Mouth exhaust system "The Meanest and Most Powerful Sound Around" with just the hint of flip flops in the end of the video!

Billy Boat exhaust is also a nice sounding system with several choices of tips and sounds.
