Remove the Remote Start ASAP!
by: Corvette web central

Whoever installed the remote start system may have screwed up an input connection to the remote start system. Sounds like to us they swapped the wire from the output side of the remote start to the lights with the security system of the car output to the remote start. This is mostlikely the case but faulty remote start control box could be the cause. REMOVE the remote start system and all related wiring get a good starting car again then take it to a person that nows how to install a remote start in a C5 Corvette!
