Is 2010 Z51 diff and 2011 grand sport diff interchangeable?

I have a 2011 grand sport auto A6 with 2.73 diff gear ratio and will like to swap for the 3,42

I know the C6 ZO6 diff will just bolt on ok to my 2011 A6 trannie but can get a good deal on a low miles 2010 Z51 diff with 5k miles and have the desired 3.42 gears in it.

Interested to find out if the two diffs share the same housing and are as strong.

Hopefully they are both 30 splines, thanks for taking your time and for your service peace, David.
