MP3 for 2005 coupe

by Mike Thompson
(Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

I have the original factory Bose stereo system with navigation. I'd like to use my Apple iTouch to play mp3s. From what I’m told this is much easier said then done. I spoke to the dealership I use, and they told me it can't be done due to the onboard computer system. Others tell me it depends on who manufactured the Bose system. I've been told there are three manufactures of the Bose system used in 2005 C6. I personally think this is ridiculous and some body must have an external MP3 player working some where in a 2005 C6 coupe!

Of all the short comings of GM design flaws this has to be one of the biggest over sights when designing the C6 generation. Any advice you can offer to over come this design flaw would be very much appreciated.
