Solved this problem
by: Paul

On my 76 stingray . When I first got it the running lights would not work or the front blinkers or markers . It was the two front
Pigtails were not sending the ground around the system . Once I replaced the pigtails all the lights started working properly. Good luck !

after prior checks, if unsuccessful.

check also at the headlamp switch connector there could be cracked / loose connection. believe, if memory serves there is separate connection goes to rear running lights at the connector

Running lights not working
by: Art

I had the same problem. I had hazards, blinkers, and brake lights but no running lights. I had a broke wire behind the fuse box. I took from the firewall and found the broke wire and replaced it.

Kenny,

Start by check for power and ground at your tail light bulb sockets. Isolate which is missing first and start working your way forward in the circuit. Grounds are very important for proper operation. If I had to bet money it would be the Corvette Headlight Switch 1978-1982

There are 2 different years for C3's Corvette Headlight Switch for 1968-1973 Vettes
