Trip Odometer isn't working

The trip odometer doesn't reset when the button is pushed in. This is the first contact I've had with a C3 so do I need to turn the knob? If it's the part in the speedometer, I know it can be replaced, but would this fix the issue, and how hard is it to be replaced, realizing I need to pull the front panel away to get access.

Push up and turn knob. Had this happen to me at NCRS judging. Didn't know you had to push and turn. It pushed kind of hard but it works.
