Trunk Lock

Having trouble getting trunk to open using button under dash. Seems to only open after being pushed several times. Also will not work after turning key to the front of the car 3 times as stated on this website. Hope you have some answers.

Not sure the year but it sounds like a bad trunk release switch if its a C5.
