Got up one morning and passenger door had no power locks or power window. started long trip home and about 1 hour into drive, lost all gauges except rpm, spedo, and alt. also lost driver door power, radio, and air. the car was saying reduce engine power and other things. the car got us home which took about 8 hours and went out the next morning and battery was dead. bought new battery and car is still doing the same thing

Check all battery cables and major power cables for the whole car. Check all grounds that are visible. Also check for damage to PCM wiring located under battery due to spillage of acid from a bad battery. Pay attention to wires under hood by giving them all good visual inspection.
