Why do my directional lights blink very slowly only when the headlights are on on my 72 Corvette?

right side turn signal will not work when head lights come up

I have a 1975 Corvette and when the head lights are turned on the right side turn signals stop working. ... I will check the grounds and change the bulbs. Thanks for the suggestions

This could be a grounding problem in this circuit. Corvetts all have grounding problems especially older C3's. Check the lamp sockets for rust and good electrical contact. Use electrical grease on these contacts to reduce rust and removes water form the circuit. A weak bulb can also react like this. Repalce both bulbs when you replace one. Good Luck...
