Corvette Racing News

Corvette Racing finished 3rd and 4th in the season opener 12 hour race at Sebring. The Corvettes finished behind two BMW M3's. This was a great start to the season for Corvette Racing and we are sure to see an improvement over last year. The team also started using the recently approved rule change "paddle shifter" during this race. The next race is in Long Beach California April 16th. Read More at Corvette Racing>>>

C7 Corvette

No news yet of the new Corvette. We are speculating that big news is on the horizon since GM has had no propaganda reports. We can only hope! One thing is for sure with us you will always be up to date! We are the #1 search result for Corvette C7 on Google. That's because we keep it real, original and up to date!

On a side note the Transformers Movie with this movie car is scheduled to come out in July 2011!

C6 Corvette 2011 Changes

New Exterior colors: Inferno Orange and Supersonic Blue brings total to 10 available on all models. 2011 Supersonic Blue ZR1 Optional contrasting-color headlamps: Cyber Gray, Black or Blade Silver. Interior custom color stitching available: Blue, Red or Yellow. Larger cross-drilled brake rotors available on coupe and convertible models. Even larger cross-drilled rotors, with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, are standard on Grand Sport). New wheel design on coupe and convertible, available in silver, Competition Gray, machine face and chrome. USB port and input jack included with NAV radio. Magnetic Ride Control available on Grand Sport (includes Goodyear F1 Supercar Gen 2 tires when equipped with the manual transmission). Six-speed paddle shift automatic transmission allows paddle use to override gear selection in Drive mode.

C5 Corvette

From the Factory all C5 Corvette's except the Z06 came with run flat tires. The Z06 came with a repair kit that you could use on your C5 with non runflat tires. Another option is to use the spare wheel and tire that came with the late model GTO. These will fit on the C5. All you would have to do is to supply a jack and proper tools to change the wheel on the side of the road.

C2, C3, C4 Corvette

After the VIN number the next most important thing to decode on your Corvette is the Vehicle trim tag. The trim tag can be located on the firewall or cowl area. It contains information about the specific model, trim, assembly plant, paint code, and a few options. The body build date code is also stamped on this tag. Just Released the C6 Corvette Buyers Owners Guide "C6 Corvette Book of Knowledge". This book expands the buyers guide series to 2 books! Combined they have 250 pages and almost 60,000 fact filled words!

The C5 Corvette Buyers Owners guide, "C5 Corvette Book of Knowledge," continues to grow! We just sent out revision 1 free of charge. We updated the inspection, storage and road test checklists. In addition we added some more great recommended products.

We are rapidly expanding the members area that comes with the E guide. The members area is designed to be easy to use and contain links and information vital to C5 Corvette ownership and maintenance. We just added a video player with helpful information. This is in addition to a parts manual and pdf versions of official owners manuals and DIY links.

For the past several months we have been working on the next E guide in the series of Buyers Owners Guides. This E guide will continue on the great success of the C5 Book of Knowledge. The new E guide will be for the C6 and will stay with the same title. The "C6 Corvette Book of Knowledge" will be unique to C6 Corvettes. We will also be in the back of the periodical Corvette Magazine promoting both the C5 and C6 E guides! Look for us in the June issue!
