1982 Corvette starts up but then dies. Has no hi idle

I have a 1982 corvette with 4,700 original miles. The car sat for about 4 months. I go to move the car today , it starts up but then dies. It has no hi idle. Where should i start.

Try this first

Before replacing the carb, you may want to replace the fuel filters and if you familiar with basic carb rebuilding; buy a can of Berryman chemtool and try disassembling and cleaning out the carb.

vette stalling after starting

I would start buy puting rebuilt carb on it. Sounds
like the gas dried up in the carb the accelerator
pump dried up to so that's why i say put a rebuilt carb on it . I think i payed $169.00 for mine.
