'75 L48 bogs then dies

Hello, I have a 1975 L48 Stingray with some problems. The biggest problem it has is that it bogs down and stalls out like it's out of gas, but you put it in neutral and itll start right up just to bog and die. It starts to bog out at around 30-40 MPH. If you know an answer please respond, I love this car and want it running as good as possible!
