thanks for info i'm new to the coevette don't know what a air dam is . look what happens is as i ride around the tem. just keeps rising if i ride around for an hour it will clime up to around 220 it not that it just gets hot right away it just keeps rising??????

You can run without thermostat. But also wont get up to operating tempature witch would make harder on gas. engine not getting hot enough for the little expansion it does to seal things example cylinder walls to pistons. Do you have the air dam on front of car will run hot without that.
