headlight assembly removal and install

My headlight assembly has both rear attachment bolts broken. I want to replace the assembly with a another that I pick up But I'm having trouble figuring out how to remove the old one. Is there any info out there that will help?

If your Vette is a C3 I might be able to help. I'm restoring mine and just removed the headlight assemblies for painting. You will need to remove the lower grill and the hood which will allow access to the six bolts (three per side). It will help considerably if you have a socket wrench with joint or knuckle to get at the bolts.

I ended up sliding the socket wrench up through the grill holes and guiding the socket on to the bolt with my hand through the hood opening.
