Headlight switch wireing

Hi i am instaling a ez wiring kit on my 76 and having a lil troble incorpating some wires on the headlight switch on the stock connator there is an orange and a wire can any one tell me what thats for? I have looked at a wiring schematic and it dont show a orange wire it also shows a tan wire but i dont have a tan wire either also i need help on how i wire up a dome light the new wiring kit has a wire for dome light do i conect that to the new light? Then to the headliht switch? And tie the door switch into it? Any help would be grate thanks
