Radio and antenna problems

I have a 82 corvette. I sent the radio in and had it rebuilt 6 months ago, also put in new speakers. Now when I turn on the ignition and then turn on the radio the radio goes blank and all I get is static. The other morning when I drove it the radio worked fine until I parked and came out and tried it again. Now this morning the antenna won't go up and there is no sound from the antenna. I rebuilt the antenna about 2 months ago and it has been working good. The speakers and radio are all original to the 82 . Any help ?
