rear end clunking at low speed while turng or brakeing fine on highway

It clunks real bad when I stop or when turning at slow speeds. If you walk next to it it has a loud popping and clunking noise but once I speed up its gone. I rebuilt the rear end, checked the wheel bearings, new brakes and calipers also looked for rubbing marks on parts like the half shafts and u joints. It all looks new so I'm stumped.

The clutches in the rear end for the positraction. Get the rear differential oil changed with added treatment for positraction....

I had same issue with my rebuild on my 72. Thought I blew the rear. The additive from the dealer worked!

Clunking

Mine is an 07 coupe. The dealership found a service bulletin. They put an additive in it and drove it around corners.....how long I don't know, Then they drained that fluid and installed new fluid and the problem has never come back. Hope this helps.
