Battery sparks putting the cables on my 1970 coupe. I disconnect the power window feed wire from the horn relay and it's fine but I lose my power windows. Any ideas?

Wiring issues
by: Corvette web central

Sounds like you may need to start performing power checks of your power window circuits. Take a volt meter and check for 12 v with the key off at the switches in either up or down modes. If there is power start working your way forward in the circuit. Pay particular attention to relays, ignition switch and wiring for chaffing and shorts.
