On occasion after driving the vehicle, it will fail to start and must sit for a couple of hours before it will start. I would like to fix this problem.

1989 corvette on occasion fails to start after use

My 1988 did the same thing. After a few times of going through this my friend said he could fix it by bypassing the security circuit which is completed through the electronic chip in the key. After he did that it has never happened again.
