1997 c5 HVAC problems

When you start the engine it may take 5-20 minutes before the HVAC sytems turns on. This is the same for the heater, no fan and no display lights lights On panel. Later as you are driving everything comes on and works fine.

We suggest looking for loose connections at the control panel. Next you may have a problem with the control panel itself. They did have a problem with loose solder joints inside the control panel if its the automatic climite control style.
