2002 C5 Corvette

Can the radiator fan be adjusted to a lower setting? Like 180 deg's by using the onboard computer ?
The car runs at 200 deg's on the freeway but when I just idle around at very slow speeds it goes to 240 deg's thats when the fan comes on and it will go back to 180 deg's

A friend told me it could be set to come on at 180 using a laptop computer is this true? and how do you do this or what program do you need to do this? Help & Thanks Lars kernallars@gmail.com

Fan Relay
by: Corvette-web-central.com

You can do just a fan relay that bypasses the PCM. Here is a link! http://www.breathlessperformance.com/newindex.php?productid=860

You can go the PCM route if you want to do other upgrades but it will cost over $500. If all you want to do is fix the temp problem go with the relay. If not try a hand held tuner like Predator or similar units!
