2003 Automatic will not engage in any gear

Parked car in the driveway. Two days later, when I went to move it, it started fine, I pulled the shfter to reverse and the shifter kept moving through the other gears. 89K miles, nothing leaking under card, no codes, no warnings previously, RPMs do not change up or down, car sounds same when running, just doesn't move. Last week I had 4 wheels aligned and passenger window motor replaced) Please help!! Had three different towing companies refuse to move car to take to repairs (must lift car from rear the way I pulled into drive and they don't want to tear up front end) Have another towing company from repair shop coming Monday morning.

It was the shift cable. Simple fix, all done and driving just fine.
