2003 c5 headlights won't flip up

by Thomas white
(Bradenton Florida )

I was changing my running light yesterday with the headlights in the upright position and when I was done the headlights wouldn't go down so I had to manually put them down. I believe I shorted I fuse out because my running light bulb was broken so I had to take it out with pliers but I had the lights on. maybe I shouldn't have done that how do I fix that? Did I blow a fuse or short something out. Because the motors are still good I believe
