Key

Key in either door lock or the trunk release area are your best bet. I would try the trunk then crawl in that way.

Dead batteries suck and its hard on the battery each time a battery goes dead it drastically reduces its capacity. Thats why we strongly recommend if your car is going to sit for more than a week plug in a convenient battery charger. We use CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 12 Volt Fully Automatic 4 step Battery Charger
This is the same brand and type of charger that comes with the new C7 Corvettes as an option.

We also recommend this added piece for ease of use CTEK (56-870) Comfort Indicator Cig Plug
We use these in our Vettes when ever they sit!
