62 Vette best among C1"s
by: Percy

62' is the year Chevrolet introduced the 327-cubic inch V8 engine, rated at 360 horsepower along with a manual four-speed transmission. The 62 Vette weight 3,137 pounds, 102-inch wheelbase car. It was also the last year for the trunk lid and exposed lights and grab around windshield. My 62 Vette drives beautiful on the highway. Every time I take it out other cars slow down hunk and give me the thumbs up. The 62 came with no power steering, brake or air condition. This car does not like bumps on the road. It's not a very comfortable ride but among the C1 is probably the best one.
