C5 Corvette Brake Light Switch (Dual)

My brake lights went out on my 2001 Chevy corvette. The top light in the middle still works thank God. But I've gone to Sears,Pep Boys and Auto Zone and no one seems to know what could be causing this problem. I guess I'll have to take it to one of the local G M dealers.

Brake Switch
by: Chris

C5 Corvette P/N 10447139 GM Original Equipment Electronic Brake Control Pedal Switch with Stop Lamp Switch
is a dual switch assembly. One switch operates the brake lights and the other operates the cruise control disconnect and the third stop light or High Mounted Stop Lamp. The one switch is also a double pole meaning it has two contacts inside. This switch is located under the dash on the you guessed it brake pedal. Please dont buy the cheap china knock offs from the big box parts stores. Stay with AC Delco!
