will be driving and the car will just stall out and not start for about 5-10 min. will start up and run fine,not sure why and what to look for

Test your fuel injectors with a ohm meter, they should read between 14 & 15 ohms. car doesn't need to be running and should be cold... it's a 10-15 min job for all 8 injectors. Your symptoms are extremely similar to what I encountered with my 90. A cheep ohm meter can be purchased at Walmart for about $10 and almost anyone can perform this test fairly easy(YouTube has many short videos). If you have a repair shop test them, figure their hourly rate, about $50 - $120 min... I also replaced all 8 injectors myself for about $300 and less than 3 hours labor... Shops wanted $2,500
PS. Other symptoms I had were: False speedometer readings, air condition cooling problems, faulty high gasoline mileage readings... All these problems cleared up after replacing the fuel injectors... Peace & Good luck!!!

Check your distributor, the c4 has an optic spark type, thus humidity and a leaking water pump will render it useless. Also, u might scan the computer and find a high resolution signal code. If so, just get on rockauto and drop $185 and buy a new one.
