car will not start not the battery

I cant start my corvette put key in and turn, lots of clicking noises coming from the silver box under the passenger side floor all systems work slowly as if there is no power but the battery has been on charge all night any ideas
before this happened the panel kept saying service the active handling but this was intermitent not all the time just wondered if this had anything to do with my problem
no pictures im affraid nothing to see
had the start problem once before but it was because the computer got wet in the car wash,just dried it out and it started no wet this time not a good place to put the computer under the floor.
