by Mike
(Guntersville, Alabama)

I just bought an 02 Vette convertible and it is making a noise that sounds like
something in the cat or the muffler rattling . Is this a common problem in this
model?

Damage
by: Anonymous

It is known for the converters to rattle if they are damaged. Do you have headers on the car? Sometimes you can get the seal break off and go down and hit the converter honeycomb. It may be covered under an emission warranty. This is different from you regular warranty. Ask your dealer.
