by JOE CAPRIO
(WARWICK RI)

MY 99 VETTE AIR CONDITIONER WAS BLOWING WARM AIR. I HAD IT RECHARGED AND 2 WKS LATER, WARM AIR AGAIN. MY QUES IS, ARE THERE ANY TROUBLE SHOOTING DIRECTIONS OR MANUALS WHICH WOULD ASSIST A LAYMAN IN GETTING TO THE PROBLEM AND FIXING IT. I HAVE THE TIME AND PATIENCE, KNOW SOME KNOWLEDGE WOULD COME IN HANDY. THANKS

Black light
by: Corvette web central

You could use a black light to look for leaks. The AC systems uses a dye so that leaks will be visible. After that you will need to have your system evacuated of R134 to replace any failed component. Then you could take it back have a vacuum applied and recheck for leaks then re serviced with R134.
