Dash pad removal

by Millard Freeman

I have a 1995 Corvette Purple Metallic that I just purchased in Oct. 2019 with 23,000 miles on it.
The dash pad has edges flipping up near front windshield.
I have read in blogs that this is a common problem and the dash pad can be removed and glue the edges back down but I can't find any information on how to remove the pad. I've read that it is easy.
Also I am wondering if the passenger side airbag has to come out with it and will unhooking the battery will keep the airbag from going off.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Millard Freeman
