I'm no expert but just throwing this out. Could it possibly have something to do with a speed sensor bad on one or more of the wheels ? I know when I try to leave my house and am parked on damp grass I have to take anti-traction off because if My wheels spin even a half a round the car will die ( unless I clutch it quick enough ). A speed sensor lying to the computer will make it go into safe mode as if you had lost traction and it removes throttle so You can regain control of the vehicle. ( I found out all about this little " Majic " button the hard way when I first got My C5. Had anti-traction off and upon gouging on it while making a left turn spun Me into a 180 and headed back to where I came from instead of making the turn. Very embarrassing so I tell people " DONT TOUCH THAT BUTTON !!! " especially if You are hot ridding around.
