diagnostic code 1263

by Greg V.

I have a 2002 Z06 and have recently been getting a 1263 code, which I know has something to do with the RF Inlet Valve Solenoid. This code is triggering the ABS and active handling dash lights to appear. I am able to clear the code out but it usually comes back on after about 5 to 10 minutes. Back in May of this year I was getting the 1214 code and I had the EBCM replaced. Now, 6 months later, this is happening. If anyone knows of an easy fix or what I can do, I would appreciate any information.

code 1263 fix
by: Greg V.

After further investigation to the 1263 code, I was told to check the air pressure in my tires. Seems they were all a little low, the front afbut 8 PSI low. Fille them all up to about 34 PSI, took it for a test drive and so codes came up. So far so good. Hows that for a cheap easy fix. Hope other find this useful.
