I'm having a problem with my 92 vette cranking up. I've had this problem for a while now. I replaced the battery, main lead to starter and the problem went away temporarily. I found that holding the key in the crank position for a few seconds would help start the car, dont know why but it did. I did this for a while but now it wont start with that method either. I can hear the fuel pump starting but no crank. If I keep the charger on the battery I dont have a problem starting it, but once I drive the car and turn it off it wont start. If I get a boost from another the car it starts quickly. I really dont think its the starter cause when it starts it starts quickly. I also tried the spare key and it still has the same problem. It does have an aftermarket alarm but I dont use it. I would appreciate any remedies for my problem.
