Problem to start C5 Vette NEW
by: Anonymous

This has happened to me and a few others over the years of owning various C5's. After hours of researching and calling various techs I was told by a friend of mine from GM that the computer will sometimes log out and loose memory (sound familiar?) to fix the problem just disconnect your battery for about thirty minutes (I usually leave mine off for two hours just to drain the capacitors). In other words you are rebooting the system just like when you have issues with your home PC. Again this is something that is normal and shouldn't present a problem according to the General.
