Short answer is yes. Long answer is that you have to get mechanic with a special scan tool (can't remember what its called) to delete the magnetic ride control code and remove the control box located in the rear drivers side compartment. The chevrolet dealer I went to, charged $250. The procedure must be followed exactly and if you ever plug the control box back in, it will reset the code that was deleted. I installed shocks that came on the Z06 after the procedure was done on my Vette. I don't know if this procedure will eliminate the "service ride control" message but it will allow you to eliminate the MRC shocks and install "regular" shocks instead.
