stalled and died on highway

the car stalled on the highway and died, I had "no pedal". Then it restarted but ran rough as though not on all cylinders. Once again it would run and I got it home ( about 2 miles) but would cut out under strong acceleration

I had this happen once. For me it was a simple fix. Change the oil and reset the service mileage. I had went way over the allowed time to service the oil. Worth a try. Read in your manual Corvette has this built in to the system (computer) to shut down performance if you have over due oil to be changed.
