The low coolent light comes on and coolent level seems ok 1989 corvette

The low coolent light comes on in my 1989 corvette but the level seems ok i have noticed the oder of coolent but have seen no leeks

coolant lamp keeps coming on,89 corvette

Had this problem.Was a very small leak in the radiator cap.

fix coolent level

you have air in the system. I had the same problem. The leslie funnel system will raise the coolent level above the engine and the air will escape from the top of the funnel.

check the heater core

make sure the heater core isn't leaking in the dash or passenger side floor.
