Why would my 1984 5.7l Crossfire Corvette stumble under heavy load only around corners?

by Steve Parker

If I jump on the throttle around any corner, at any temp, why would my 1984 Corvette 5.7l crossfire, not only stumble, but almost die out? After I lift and continue on it runs fine. If I launch from a dead stop and let it run through 3 gears, automatic, it runs fine. Fresh gas, filter, fuel pressure, etc. Has anyone cam across this issue and fixed it? Does the fuel tank have a swing arm in it? Please help...Thank you!!!
