Won't start

I have a 1998 corvette with only 32,000 miles and it has sit in my garage for 10 months because I can't get it to start. I can work the radio, windows, etc but the car will not crank at all. I tried arming the security system, making it go off by opening door from inside and disarming it by putting my key in the key lock on driver side. still, nothing.
Should I try battery cable to silinoid? ground wire? bypassing the security system? help please
