Z06 transmission - ratios

by Markus

5th and especially 6th gear are way too "long" (numerically low). Solutions might be to use different gear sets - such as a 0.81 5th and 0.68 6th, for instance - or to swap trans and diff. for the 6060 trans as used in the CTS-V Cadillacs (3.73 rear). Is this possible - or are there any other solutions?

Any recommendations are highly welcome.

C6 Z06 transmission

Hi, thank you for your comment. The ZR1 trans would be a possibility, yes, since it has correct higher gears (5th, 6th). However, it has also "longer" low gears (1st-3rd) which I would want to avoid.

I think the C6 ZR1 has different gear ratios more along the lines of what you are looking for!
